Digestive Support
Does your horse have to endure major changes in feed rations, e.g., moving from pasture to stable feed? Loss of appetite, grinding teeth, repeated yawning, etc. In short, is your horse’s condition falling behind, or do you want extra support to aid digestion in the gastrointestinal tract?
Digestive Support is a feed supplement based on alfalfa, dried chicory pulp and nettle that supports digestion. This 4mm pellet contains no molasses and has a low sugar and starch content. It is specially designed to regulate digestion and optimise intestinal flora.
✓ Lithothamnium is oceanic algal calcium. Due to the unique structure of this algal lime, minerals such as calcium and magnesium are slowly released into the stomach. This reduces the fluctuations of the acidity level in the stomach and therefore contributes to a healthy stomach lining.
✓ Chicory has a prebiotic effect thanks to the inulin it contains. Inulin is a nutrient for the growth of good intestinal bacteria.
✓ The yeast cultures contain nutrients that contribute to a healthy and efficient intestinal flora.
✓ The added probiotic is a specific strain of lactobacilli, which helps to maintain the natural balance of the intestinal flora.
✓ The added mycotoxin binder (including Bentonite) supports digestion in horses exposed to mycotoxins in roughage, litter, grains or concentrate feed.
NEW:
- Based on alfalfa, dried chicory pulp and nettle, low in starch (4%) and sugar (5.5%)
- Now contains a mycotoxin binding agent (a.o. bentonite); supports the digestion of horses that are exposed to mycotoxins (moulds) in roughage, litter, grains or concentrated feed
- No molasses added
TIP: Adding 250 grams of EquiFirst Linamix per day will further contribute to the effect of supporting good digestion.
The above-mentioned different components work in symbiosis to optimise the horse's intestinal flora and they contribute to good digestion in the intestines.
